TIFTON — Wilma Gladys Griner Archer, 81, of Tifton, died Monday, May 2, 2005, 
at her residence. 
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel of Bowen-
Donaldson Home for Funerals. Burial will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. The 
Rev. Calvin Bobo and the Rev. Eddie Allen will officiate. 
Brian Haynes, Chad Haynes, Michael Abney, Nicholas Abney, Jon Garrett, Brad 
Mosher and Greg Cary will serve as pallbearers. 
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Bowen-Donaldson 
Home for Funerals. 
Mrs. Archer was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Berrien County. She was the daughter of 
Samuel Griner and Nancy Jane McMillan Griner, both deceased. She was also 
preceded in death by her husband, James Winfield Archer; two sisters; and two 
grandchildren. She was a member of Tift Avenue Baptist Church and a homemaker. 
Mrs. Archer is survived by her son and a daughter-in-law, Wayne W. and Linda 
Archer of Bunell, Fla.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Phyllis and Guy 
Haynes of Tifton, Jan and Billy Abney of Tifton, and Vicky and Lamar Gordy of 
Tifton; a brother, Eston Griner of Tifton; eight grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren. 
Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements
