NASHVILLE -- O. G. Alexander, 59, of Nashville, died on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, 
at Heritage House. He was born on Sept. 14, 1942, in Berrien County to Gertley 
and Alice Griner Alexander. He was a shipping foreman at Nashville Mills and 
was a member of Nashville Church of God. He was preceded in death by a sister, 
Marie Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Lenita Spikes Alexander of 
Nashville; two sons, Wade Alexander of Parmeraton, Pa., Bryan Alexander, 
Tifton; four grandchildren, Laken, Dalton, Madison and Raina Alexander; four 
sisters, Jackie Mathis of Valdosta, Marm Spires, Nashville, Eloise Iverson, 
Newnan, Othel Purvis, Alapaha; one brother, Darrell Alexander, Nashville. 
Funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 9 in the chapel of 
Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Greer officiating. Burial will be in 
Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. today with 
the family receiving friends from 7-9 p.m. -- Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
