The Berrien Press -- Susie Tomberlin Ace, 95, of Cairo died April 3, 2006 at 
South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.
 Born June 30, 1910 in Berrien County to the late Frank and Magalene Griner 
Brantley, she was a homemaker. She was married to the late W. B. Roberline 
(Tomberlin) and the late George Ace. She was also preceded in death by two 
sons, Howard Tomberlin and Frank Tomberlin.
 Survivors include one daughter, Helen Millirons of Lake Park; four sons, Rev. 
Dr. William B. Tomberlin of McCleansboro, IL, Wayne Tomberlin of Nashville, 
Jimmy Tomberlin of Cairo, Robert Tomberlin of Bessemer, AL; four sisters, 
Ethel Reddish of Valdosta, Evelyn Shepard of Jacksonville, FL, Lucille Cox of 
Monroe, NC, Verna Donaldson of Johnson City, TN; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-
grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.
 A graveside service was held April 8 at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Cemetery with 
Rev. J.W. Dukes, III officiating.
 Grandsons served as pallbearers.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
