The body of Pvt. Thomas W. Ertzberger will be brought to Carnesville Thursday 
morning at 11:15 o'clock. Pvt. Ertzberger was killed in action on Mindfamime 
Island, Philippine Island, June 7, 1945.

Funeral services will be held at Cross Roads Baptist Church Friday afternoon.

The Rev. D.C. Williams will officiate with the American Legion and Veterans of 
Foreign Wars forming an honorary escort.

Survivors are, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cephas Ertzberger, of Carnesville, two 
sisters, Mrs. Tom Bradly, of Clarkesville and Miss Undine Ertzberger, one brother, 
Daniel Ertzberger, and a number of other close relatives.

Cpt. Thurmond Ertzberger, brother of Wade, was killed in Germany, and was buried 
at Cross Roads church last fall.

Young Ertzberger was 25 years old and was loved by all who knew him. The family 
have the deepest sympathy of hundreds of friends. 

B.D. Ginn, funeral director, wil be in charge of arrangements.
