Mr. Duncan, a native of Franklin County, was a son of Linda Bowman York and the late Tony Key Duncan. He was a truck driver with Brown Transport Co., Athens and a member of the Mill Shoal Baptist Church. He attended Franklin County High School and had served in the National Guard. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Pruitte Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Olds will officiate and burial will be in the Holly springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a brother, Jeffrey Hart, Royston; a sister, Delaine Duncan Rollins, Toccoa; and his grandmothers, Tolly Leon, Duluth, and Allene Boleman, Royston. The family is at the residence of Allene Bowman, Route 1, Royston and will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
