Jimmie L. Eldridge
    Jimmie L. Eldridge, 85, of Mystic, died Sunday, February 2, 1997 at 
Osceola Nursing Home.
Funeral services, was held Tuesday, February 4 at Big Creek Baptist 
Church. The Rev. Ed Reeves, the Rev. Jerry Wilson and the Rev. Wayne. 
McCrimmon officiated at the 11 a.m. service. Interment was held in the 
Big Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Eldridge was born June 25, 1911 in Franklin County to Jim L. 
Laudermilk and Mary Janes Chitwood Laudermilk. She has lived in the 
community since 1919 and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church in 
Irwinville. She was preceded in death by her husband Elder RJ. Eldridge.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, J. J. "Jack" and' Kip 
Eldridge of Mystic;three daughters and sons-in- law: Janet E. and Gerald 
Thompson of  Fitzgerald, Monteen E. and Frank Martin of  Mystic and 
Marcella and Bill Wood of Tifton; one brother, John L. Laudermilk  of  
Loganville; one sister Minnie L. White of Roswell; 11 grandchildren; 19 
great-grandchildren.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
