The death of Mrs. P. T. Cromer, aged 63, after only a few weeks illness, cast 
a gloom of sorrow over this section.
She died a Brown Hospital Sunday, February 5, of pneumonia and blood poisoning 
after every effort waw made to overcome this malady.
Mrs. Cromer was a resident of Goldmine community and was held in the highest 
esteem by all who knew her.  By her gentle spirit and 
kindliness she made friends wherever she went and many are they who mourn her 
passing.  She was a devoted mother and wife, a constant
and loyal friend and always ready to lend a helping hand wherever she could be 
of service to others.
Funeral services were held at Trinity church Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock 
with Rev. J. B. Todd officiating.  Interment was in Trinity cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, 6 daughters, Mrs. D. C. Phillips, Mrs. John 
Carey, Royston; Mrs. Curtis Carey, Anderson, SC; Mrs. Lonnie Stephenson of 
Royston;
Mrs. Henry Brown of Toccoa and Mrs. Omer Smith of Royston.  Seven sons, Olen, 
Omer, Pearl, Early, Seaborn, Keiffer and Jimmie Cromer of Royston.
55 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many other relatives.  They 
have the deepest sympathy of their many friends in the passing of their loved 
one.
