Johnny Lynn Cochran, 52, of Canon, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at his 
residence.

Born in Franklin County on February 7, 1954, he was the son of Jimmie Stratton 
Cochran of Canon and the late Arthur Dean Cochran. He worked as a project 
manager for the Department of Transportation and was a member of the Gaines 
Chapel United Methodist Church. He served as a trustee for the Poplar Springs 
Camp Ground.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Martin Cochran; a son, Chris Cochran, 
Suwanee; daughter, Crystal Cochran Childs, Royston; granddaughter, MaCaylee 
Ann Childs; and a sister, Beverly Fulbright, Blue Ridge.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 18, at the Gaines Chapel United 
Methodist Church with the Revs. Wayne Monroe and Dean Milford officiating. 
Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
