Mary Edna Fowler Briscoe, 63, of Brown Memorial Convalescent Center in 
Royston, died Sunday, November 28, 2004, at Cobb Memorial Hospital, Royston.

Born in Franklin County October 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late 
James Mack Fowler and Mayola Haley Fowler. Mrs. Briscoe was a homemaker and 
attended the Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by 
four brothers, Stewart, L.C. (Pete), Marvin and Boyce Fowler, and one sister, 
Bertha Price. 

Survivors include sons, Dennis Briscoe, Royston, and Kenny Briscoe, 
Carnesville; daughter, Donna Briscoe, Carnesville; sisters, Cathryn Cromer, 
Salisbury, N.C., Rachel Royston, Joyce Floyd and Ruby Brown, all of Royston; 
and JoAnn Peeples, Canon; brother, Jack Fowler, Kannapolis, N.C.; and six 
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 30, in the chapel of Pruitt 
Funeral Home with the Revs. Bert Synan, Malcolm Herndon, and Chris Pritchett 
officiating. Burial was in the Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
