The Atlanta Constitution, 1931 July 13, 1931
Bowman, Ga., July 12--In naming their 16 children, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Ginn, who
live two miles west of here, dispensed of the usual haphazard method of naming
their off-spring and used names beginning with letters of the alphabet
consecutively from B through Q.

Names of the children are: Brodie, Corbin, Dorcas, Elmira, Fessan, Gregor, Hassie,
Ithmar, Jessie, Kesler, Lisbon, Manson, Nelson, Ornice, Pascal, and Quaver.

Ten of them are married and have children of their own, it was revealed at a
family reunion held at the farm home of the parents recently. A basket dinner was
served under the spreading oak trees.
