ELECTRICIAN BADLY BURNED

FRANK MILLER RECEIVES SEVERE SHOCK NEAR NEW PLYMOUTH.

Last Saturday while working on an electric light pole in New Plymouth Frank
Miller in some manner came in contact with a live wire carrying four thousand
volts and was badly burned on the hands and arms, he was for a time rendered
unconscious and hung from the pole by the strap which the men use in working,
there were other men near by but none had climbers and before help could be
secured to release him from the pole, he revived and came to the ground, he was
taken to Dr. Drysdale’s office where he wounds were dressed, then taken to the
hospital at Boise. It is thought that he may lose his left hand. Frank has a
strong constitution and plenty of pluck which will assist greatly in his
recovery.
