Creamery Meeting In Payette Last Saturday

The second meeting to consider the establishing of a creamery was held in
Payette last Saturday. There was a large and enthusiastic crowd present and
great interest is being shown in the matter.

G. E. Frevert, of the U. S. agricultural department and H. A. Ireland, county
farm expert, were present, also representatives from the creameries at Nampa
and Caldwell, who gave short talks on the benefits to be derived from the
establishment of the creamery.

A committee was appointed to solicit stock subscriptions, which are placed at
$10 per share. It was reported at the meeting that 550 cows had already been
pledged and that a great many more could easily be secured.

A third meeting is to be held in Payette tomorrow.
