BIG FIRE AT WEISER

Last Tuesday morning about one o'clock fire broke out in the Gem State Lumber
Yard at Weiser and before the flames could be extinguished it spread to the
Weiser Cold Storage and both were totally destroyed, there were 14 new ford
cars in the cold storage building which were also destroyed, two new coal cars
and two double deck stock cars belonging to the O. S. L. Railroad Co. that
were standing nearby were burned, a total loss of about $150,000. While this
fire was burning another fire was discovered in a barn several blocks away and
against the wind, which would indicated that same malicious person might be
responsible.
