A Fruit Evaporator.
From Boise Statesman.

L. B. Gorham has just secured from the Oregon Short Line a 15-year lease of a
strip of railroad ground near Thirteenth street upon which to erect a fruit
evaporator. The leased ground has a frontage on the track of 190 feet and is
100 feet deep.

Mr. Gorham is interested in the organization of a company here, principally of
local capitalist, to be known at the Idaho Fruit Evaporating Company of Boise
and he is meeting with flattering success in his undertaking. It is Mr.
Gorham’s purpose to establish three evaporators along the Short Line—at Boise,
Payette and Weiser. The organization of the company at Weiser is about
perfected and the matter will be taken up at Payette immediately.
