Young-Hill

On Wednesday, July 19th, at 4 p. m. at the Christian church parsonage, Rev. H.
E. Mowe officiating, occurred the marriage of Edward Young and Miss Blanche
Hill -- Mrs. Lester Seawell being the sole witness to the nuptials.

The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Young, and was born and
raised in this vicinity. For several years he resided with his parents on the
ranch in North Payette, where he attended school. For the past year he has
been connected with the Shurtleff & Young garage, acting as chief vuleamixer
and general utility man. He is well known and has a host of friends. The
bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hill of Midvale, has been
a school teacher for some time, and at one time taught the school in District
No. 9, and is a graduate of Midvale high school. She is a very refined young
lady and her friends are legion.

On Thursday, the newly married couple went to Payette Lakes for a short
wedding trip. They returned on Sunday, and have taken apartments at the
Seawell home on 1st Avenue South and 12th Street, where they are now at home
to their many friends. The Independent extends congratulations.
