Popular Payette Country Couple Wed

A quiet home wedding took place at New Plymouth on last Friday, July 3 at the 
home of the bride, when Miss Goldie Grace Harkins became the bride of Curtis H. 
Callen of Payette.  The Rev. Jasobes, pastor of the Baptist church of that 
place officiating.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Harkins and 
one of New Plymouth’s most charming young ladies.  The groom is the only son of 
Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Callen and is an exceptionally fine young man.  Only the 
member of the two families were present at the wedding.  

Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Callen took their departure for the 
Payette Lakes, returning to Payette Sunday evening, where they will make their 
home.  Mr. Callen is bookkeeper at the F. M. Moss and Brother Garage where he 
has been for several years.
