Young-Green

Miss Stella Green, one of Washoe's most popular young ladies, and Earl Young
of Tulsa, Oklahoma, were united in marriage at the Methodist parsonage on June
2nd. The following Wednesday all the good people of Washoe, Payette and the
Bench, gave a miscellaneous shower for the young couple. Sixty people met at
Mr. Blisu's grove for the affair. As a cold wind sprang up all was
transferred in a few moments to Community hall. After a most lively hour
spent playing games, in which old and young took part, indeed, it was a
question not easily settled as to who was old. A large basket full to
overflowing with mysterious packages was placed before the bride and groom,
who proceeded to investigate each one. The many useful and beautiful gifts
proved that Stella and Earl have hosts of friends who wish them a long and
happy life. Then refreshments were served, and a social hour which all
enjoyed.

For the summer Mr. and Mrs. Young will take charge of the ranch at Washoe,
owned by Mr. Green, father of the bride, while he with family, are visiting
relatives in the east and south.
