THANKSGIVING WEDDING

DeMont Judd and Miss Merna Dunn were married at the home of the bride's
parents, Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25th. Both of them are so well known and held
in such high esteem that it seems useless to consume space in praising them.
and yet it is a pleasure just to say how unreservedly our good hopes go with
them for the richest blessings of life.

They were married at the noon hour. a bower of smilax and chrysanthemums
marked the place where they stood and uttered their vows and were pronounced
husband and wife by Rev. M. D. Reed. Mrs. Judd played soft strains of "The
Angels Serenade," while the ceremony proceeded. Hearty congratulations
followed. Then the twenty-two most intimate friends sat down to the
Thanksgiving Wedding dinner, served by the Misses Mabel Holden, Hazel Case and
Ruby Landon. The entire house was decorated with the materials that composed
the bridal bower. The bride was beautifully gowned, but it was her own grace
and charm that crowned all ornaments.

There was a fine collection of permanent testimonials of esteem, waiting on a
table to be carried to the new home and there abide as glad reminders of the
happy day.

Mr. and Mrs. Judd are already in their home in the Turner ranch and many are
the good wishes that attend them.
