WEDDING BELLS

On the morning of September 12th 1918, the day of registering several million
men for military service, a pretty little wedding was solemnized at the home
of P. Monroe Smock at 809 Third Avenue North, when Mr. Perry James of
Fruitland and Miss Doris Maud Boyer of Payette were joined in the bonds of
holy wedlock, with the simple ring ceremony that has come down to us through
many past generations.

The merry couple repaired to the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.
A. Boyer, where a delicious wedding breakfast was served. They will make
their home on a ranch in Whitley Bottom where the best wishes of their many
friends will follow them.

Additional Comments:
Note: According to the Idaho Marriage Index, Doris Maud Boyer and Perry James
were married 9-12-1918. ch
