Services for Mrs. Sadie Y. Bean, 52, of Lineville will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at 
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville with the Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. 
Burial will be in Shady Grove Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive 
friends until time of service at the funeral home. Mrs. Bean died Wednesday at 
her home. Survivors include her husband, Shearl Bean of Lineville; three 
daughters, Mrs. Denise Medlock of Birmingham, Mrs. Donna Thompson of Paduka, Ky 
and Mrs. Beana Brewer of Wuertzburg, West Germany; two sons, Gary Bean and 
Stephen Bean, both of Lineville; four sisters, Mrs. Addie Burch Ford and Mrs. 
Jeannene Jackson, both of Ashland, Mrs. Wilma Deberry of Lineville and Mrs. 
Weynona Burgess of Rockingham, N.C.; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will 
be Sidney Ford, Mike Hassel, Lew Hassel, Benny Deberry, Nathan Blackstock, Dean 
Blackstock and Doug Deberry. Mrs. Bean was a Randolph County native and a Clay 
County resident most of her life. She was a member of Shady Grove Christian 
Church.
