 Jack E. Gockenbach, 85, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Hospice 
House, Cape Coral, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born 
July 18, 1026 in Columbus, Ohio to Henry and Lauretta.
 Jack proudly served his country in WWII as a Navy Seabee in the South 
Pacific. He married the love of his life on March 1, 1947 and they shared 60 
years together. After working for 30 years for Rockwell International he moved 
to Cape Coral, FL in 1976. He was an avid fisherman and terrific artist.
 Jack leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, daughter, son and their 
families, two grandchildren and three sisters.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers "Bud", Don and sister 
Beverly.
 His wishes were to be cremated with his inurnment to be held at 11:30 a.m on 
Saturday, Marach 10 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery.
