 Henry "Bud/Hank" Fancy, 91, of Fort Myers, FL died December 7, 2011 in the 
care of Hospice House in Fort Myers. Henry Franklin Fancy was born in Gorham, 
New Hampshire, on December 1, 1920, the son of the late William and Gladys 
Fancy. He was a physician who served proudly as a Colonel in the U.S Army, 
including service throughout the U.S, Europe, Panama, Korea and Japan. After 
his retirement from the U.S Army in 1970, Henry moved to Fort Myers, where he 
began his second career, he continued to volunteer as a physician for the 
Senior Friendship Center. He was a member of St. Luke's Church in Fort Myers.
 Dr. Fancy is survived by his three daughters and their families, and several 
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, and the 
love of his life, wife Olive "Cooksey" Fancy.
 Private family services will be held. The family is being assisted by Fort 
Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
