  A GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION was held in honor of Mr. & Mrs. 
  Alfred Maurer, of Dayton, R.D.2, in the Belnap United Church of Christ social 
  rooms Saturday, November 22.  The Maurers exchanged vows November 1, 1919 in 
  Kittanning.  They are the parents of nine daughter.  Mrs. Maurer is the former 
  Bessie Himes, of Copenhaver's Crossroads.  The couple has 17 grandchildren and 
  four great-grandchildren in their family.
