also known as Corbett Cemetery Monroe Township, Perry County, Ohio Cemetery Number 2.
Formerly the Corbit-Corbett Cemetery consisting of immigrant
family members who traveled and settled here fleeing the
Potato Famine in County Down, Ireland. The 15 tombstones
range from 1855-1899. Matthew Corbit-Corbett Mary Ann
Cain-Cane Corbett are buried there.
The cemetery is located on a burial mound (Austere) behind
the residence at 13558 Chapel Hill Road South East in
Corning, (Monroe Township), Perry County, Ohio in a heavily
wooded and secluded area.
The cemetery is now defunct and there have been no "known"
interments since 1899
