Back Cary A. Doggett (1823-1887)
On Dec. 30, 1885 Cary A. Doggett filed on the
SW¼ Sec. 14: T2N: R 49 W, Weld County Colorado
and sold it to the Lincoln Land Co. Jan. 15, 1856
for the purpose of establishing the town of Hyde.

Being the original locator on the land, Mr. Doggett
was proprietor of ½ interest in the townsite and had
an avenue name after him.
