(sbf)
- Lena Butsch Paddock died on October 12, 1937. I know the headstone says
October 11th, but I do not believe this to be correct. I have her death
certificate and the newspaper article about her death, and both say October
12, 1937. She died during the night which began on October 11th, but it was
actually in the wee hours of October 12 when her death officially occurred.
Whoever ordered her headstone may have been present when the vigil began on
the 11th and made a mistake about the date inscribed on her stone.
