ARAPAHOE COUNTY

County Seat - Littleton (Denver 1861-1901)	Population - 487,967 2000 Census
Arapahoe County is one of the original Colorado Counties. In 1901 the northern part was split off to create Denver and Adams Counties. In 1903 the eastern half of both Adams and Arapahoe were added to Washington and Yuma Counties.
