Note:
There is a very nice man named Joe Manners who lives near the cemetery and apparently
has taken it upon himself to be the guardian of the graveyard. The complete cemetery was
totally desecrated about 15 years ago by some local boys. They broke every headstone and
tore up all the crosses. A local group has done what they can to restore it. According to Joe,
the only original records of the burials were maintained by a mortuary in Victorville, and it
was destroyed by fire many years ago.
